Vent Issues With Cod 4

My friend is having a problem with vent and cod 4. His Vent works sitting there talking as soon as he opens the game nothing all he has is sound nothing comes thru the mic. Any help would be Great

Hello,

It sounds like he needs to change his microphone output from "Stereo Mix" to "Microphone" - You can do this via the windows sound panel.
